Property Description

Opportunity to Own a Piece of Maine's Sporting Camp History! Escape to this truly remote and private fishing camp nestled on the shores of Little Beaver Pond in Oxford County. Accessible only by boat or snowmobile, this unique property offers the kind of solitude and wilderness experience that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Enjoy 370 feet of water frontage with breathtaking views of Azicohos Mountain and a remarkable sense of privacy?you won't see another camp anywhere on the pond. Whether you're casting a line at sunrise, exploring the surrounding woods, or relaxing by the water, this is a place where you can truly disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The property features two original log cabins dating back to the early 1900s, each with its own character and purpose. One cabin serves as a classic cooking camp, providing a dedicated gathering and meal-preparation space, while the second cabin offers comfortable living space along with a loft sleeping area for guests. Together, the cabins capture the charm and character of Maine's traditional sporting camps while providing a base for fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and paddling. A parking area provides a convenient place to leave a vehicle, while there is also space along the shore to leave a boat for easy access to the pond. The property is situated on leased land, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy a private waterfront retreat without the typical cost of owning a large waterfront parcel. If you've been searching for a genuine off-grid Maine getaway with history, privacy, mountain views, and exceptional access to outdoor recreation, this one deserves a closer look. Properties like this rarely come available?come experience the peace and character of Little Beaver Pond for yourself.
