It comprises three conjoined structures, including a three story renovated historic grist mill. Most of the 19 guest rooms enjoy fantastic ocean views and decks overhanging the water. Guests are lulled to sleep by the extraordinary sound of tidal waters rushing through the mill race, beside and beneath the main structure, connecting Carver's Harbor and Carver's Pond. One could operate the Tidewater as it is currently designed or easily convert the former mill building (currently 6 units) into an extraordinary private residence along with the 13 original guest rooms. Vinalhaven is an idyllic Maine experience, and the island makes for the perfect getaway for coastal exploration!
