Craft Destinations Near Manchester - Sprague & Curtis Real Estate

  1. Stained Glass Express - 966 Western Ave., Manchester

The family-owned business features a studio, retail store, and their Glass Academy on site. They have an array of stained glass, mosaics, and etching supplies in stock. Their staff can restore or create any number of projects, such as residential cabinet doors. They have two large classrooms in their Glass Academy and host a variety of classes, ranging from beginner and children's classes to adult classes. They teach glass and glass blowing, to more advanced stain glass techniques. The Stained Glass Express is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  2. A Lakeside Studio Pottery - 12 Cedar Point Road, Wayne
    Martha L. Hoddinott works at Lakeside Studio Pottery, which faces Androscoggin Lake and the western Maine mountains. These picturesque settings provide inspiration; she often creates whimsical and functional pieces. Some of her mugs feature her infamous tree silhouettes and her other pieces include flower vases, decorative suns and moons, birdhouses, and jewelry.   3. Whippersnappers Fine Fabrics & Notions - 103 Water St., Hallowell
    Located in historic downtown Hallowell, Whippersnappers Fine Fabrics & Notions sells a collection of fine fabrics, especially batiks. In addition to their high-quality fabrics, they also offer in-house custom quilt making. The quilt proprietor Lynn Irish can create a variety of quilts with the long arm, and all you need to do is bring in a quilt top and some design ideas. Are you interested in learning how to quilt? Whippersnappers offers Beginning Quilting classes on Fridays at 10:30 am.
