Kennebec Valley Celebrations Not to Be Missed June 29th
It's almost time once again to enjoy two of the biggest celebrations of the year in the Kennebec Valley, packed into one exciting day. June 29th marks the return of both Kennebec River Day and the Kennebec River Brewfest. Both events take place at scenic Mill Park, where you'll find a schedule of events that appeal to every member of the family. From great food to shopping, fun, drinks, and games, Kennebec River Day has it all. Children's Games and Activities
Kids and adults alike will have a blast exploring all that Kennebec River Day has to offer. For younger members of the audience, there will a kids workshop, inflatable obstacle course, musical instrument petting zoo, building with LEGOs, and even the chance to build their own magic wand. Kids also love visiting the Touch-a-Truck exhibition, which allows them to get a first-hand look at emergency response vehicles. -
Live Music and Entertainment on Three Stages
Enjoy a day of music and entertainment on three stages, including the Family Fun stage and the B98.5 stage. The Family Fun stage will feature a dance performance, karate demonstration, Taiko drumming, and a working K-9 demonstration. The B98.5 stage will host the talent show, one of the festival's most popular attractions, throughout the day. -
Fantastic Food and Local Vendors
Whether you're feeling hungry or looking for the perfect souvenir to commemorate Kennebec River Day, you'll have no trouble finding what you're looking for at this annual Augusta event. The celebration includes a huge selection of local vendors selling unique, handcrafted wares, along with a food court that offers barbecue, sweet treats, comfort food, and so much more.
