For nearly 40 years, the Augusta Arts & Crafts Show has been a great way to get a head start on the holiday shopping season. More than 100 regional artists will have their works on display at the show, sponsored by United Maine Craftsmen. Products include sculptures, woodwork, paintings, and home decor. The show is scheduled for Saturday, November 13, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Sunday, November 14, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Admission is $2 each day. - Farmers' Market at Mill Park - Buker Center, 22 Armory St., Augusta, ME 04330
Enjoy healthy eating year-round with farm-fresh produce from the Farmers' Market at Mill Park. Fill your pantry and fridge with greens, sweet potatoes, apples, squash, and a variety of just-harvested fruits and vegetables. The market is also a good source of baked goods and gourmet products such as olive oil and flavored vinegars. Local artisans are on hand with creams, lip balms, and other natural body care items. Spend the post-Thanksgiving weekend shopping for unique gifts at the Christmas in New England Arts and Crafts Fair. 2021 marks the 41st occasion of the largest show during the holiday season. Artisans from all around Maine and New England will be displaying a full selection of items, including pottery and sculpture, wool and decorative knits, specialty soaps, jewelry, and children's gifts. Hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, and Sunday, November 28. Procrastinators, rejoice! Thanks to the 28th annual Last Minute Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair, you won't have to turn up empty-handed at holiday gatherings. With hand-crafted items ranging from quilts and dolls to jams, jellies, and jewelry, you'll find something for everyone on your gift list. Each day includes a number of different vendors for maximum variety. Mark your calendar for 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, and Sunday, December 19. Generations of families have made the China Maine Craft Show a holiday tradition for 42 years. In addition to crafters selling their finest handmade creations, the event includes basket raffles, a silent auction, and a kids' holiday shop. Proceeds from all activities support students and staff at China Primary and Middle Schools, just down the street from China homes for sale. The show takes place on Saturday, November 6, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
