The Kennebec Valley is known for all kinds of things. Its welcoming communities, strong local economy, and a truly unique natural landscape all come together to make it one of the best regions to live in here in Maine. If you want to discover even more about the Kennebec Valley, our real estate agents are here to help you.

The Kennebec Valley Beer Trail is an exciting way to explore near Augusta homes for sale, consisting of a wide variety of local businesses whose brews showcase the  Kennebec Valley.

Let's discover more about the Kennebec Valley Beer Trail.

What Is the Kennebec Valley Beer Trail?

The Kennebec Valley Beer Trail is not a formal trail that you walk on from point to point. Instead, it refers to a path that will bring you to see the many craft breweries and microbreweries of the Kennebec Valley – more than a dozen in total – as well as several top restaurants that partner with the breweries to offer their products.

You don't have to explore the Kennebec Valley Beer Trail in any particular order, and it is open any time of the year, though it is most popular when the lush Kennebec Valley is vibrant in the fall. When you are at an establishment that's an official part of the Beer Trail, you'll be able to spot a sign or plaque telling you exactly where you are on the trail. These businesses also offer trail maps to customers.
