The next market, called the "Mini Market," is scheduled for May 25 at Absolem Cider in Winthrop.

The market takes place at the Vassalboro Grange on Main Street on Fridays from 2 to 6 pm. Vendors change from month to month, and the market also offers live music and other entertainment.

The season for the market is May through October, but occasional pop-up events are held during the winter months as well.

Held indoors during the colder months, the Downtown Waterville Farmers Market moves outside from May through October, with 30-plus vendors setting up along the Concourse in the heart of Waterville. The market happens on Thursdays from 2 to 6 pm, and it's a great place to experience Maine agriculture at its finest. Attendees often head home with everything from fresh eggs and organic produce to local honey and handmade soaps and beauty products.
